Full-Day Sail to Jost Van Dyke

Grab your passport and set sail aboard a luxury catamaran for the island of Jost Van Dyke, one of the most charming and colorful islands in the Caribbean. Refreshing snacks and beverages will be served en route to the Lovango and Congo Cays, where you are free to snorkel before making our way to Great Harbour for our first stop.

After a short stroll on the beach, soak up the island ambience at Foxy’s Tamarind Beach Bar to the sound of local music and the taste of classic Caribbean BBQ. After a little shopping at Foxy’s famous boutique, it’s back to the boat for White Bay Beach, one of the most beautiful stretches of white sand beach in the Caribbean, where it’s always “island time” at Ivan’s Stress Free Bar or the Soggy Dollar Bar. The relaxation continues on the beautiful spinnaker sail back to St. Thomas, complete with snacks and open bar as the sun begins to set on what is sure to be a perfect day at sea.

INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITIES

For your added enjoyment in St. Thomas, we have planned a variety of individual activities for you and your spouse/guest to enjoy. Please read the descriptions below and visit each link for more detailed information.

Activities will be offered on three days during the program – Tuesday, May 24, Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26. Not all activities will be offered each day. During the registration process, please select only one (1) activity per day, per person. Please note, activities are not mandatory. You will have the option to decline any activity and select a day of leisure, if you prefer.

Please choose carefully and make your selection by Friday, April 22, 2016. For some activities, space is limited and will be based on a first come, first served basis. After Friday, April 22, all activity selections are final.

Deep Sea Fishing – Fish On!

The U.S. Virgin Islands attracts world-class anglers and first-timers alike in pursuit of marlin, sailfish, dolphin (mahi-mahi), tuna, and wahoo offshore, as well as barracuda, kingfish, bonito, jacks, and yellowtail snapper inshore. An experienced captain and crew will help you land your catch of a lifetime. An Atlantic Blue Marlin, caught off St. Thomas in 1977, still holds the All Tackle World Record. It weighed in at 1,286 pounds!

Golf at Mahogany Run – home of the “Devil’s Triangle”

Designed by world-renowned architects George and Tom Fazio, the 6,000 yard, par 70 Mahogany Run Golf Course is not to be missed. The highlighted feature on the course is the world famous Devil’s Triangle, a three hole stretch sure to challenge the best of players. The Devil’s Triangle’s dramatic par-3 14th hole, situated 200 feet above a rocky inlet above the Atlantic Ocean, offers breathtaking views of the neighboring U.S. and British Virgin Islands – an experience to talk about and remember for a lifetime!

Half-Day Catamaran Snorkel Sail

This 3-hours of fun-in-the-sun adventure offers guests an introduction to the world’s most popular sailing grounds. Enjoy sailing amongst the islands and cays off St. Thomas and St. John and discover the perfect anchorage for swimming and snorkeling. Relax at one of the spectacular beaches that line the National Park on St. John, or anchor between beautiful, uninhabited islands. Snacks, open bar and snorkel equipment are included.

Hiking St. John

This fantastic hike offers a great introduction to the US Virgin Islands National Park and the rich history of St. John. You will see amazing vistas, take in the tropical smells of this natural environment and hike to Honeymoon Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Plunge into the pristine turquoise waters or snorkel the reefs. From the beach you will continue on to Caneel Bay Resorts sugar mill ruin where you will be guided through the steps of sugarcane process. Hike tour with lunch and snorkeling is 3 1⁄2 hours.

Kayaking Eco-Tour

Voted best Eco-tourism activity in St. Thomas!  Enjoy a unique, multi-eco experience as you kayak among the many small islands of Mangrove lagoon all while learning why the Mangrove Ecosystem plays such a crucial role in maintaining healthy offshore coral reefs, reef fish populations, and shoreline stabilization. Hike the pristine, deserted 15 acre island of Cas Cay and take in the many breathtaking views. Explore the mangrove forest, try your luck with a hermit crab race, and hike to tidal pools, volcanic cliffs and marine tidal pools, complete with a rare geologic blowhole. Snorkel a coral-fringed mangrove nursery with easy beach entry.

Scuba – Certification Required

St. Thomas is truly a scuba diver’s paradise! Explore the reefs, wrecks and unique rock formations located just off St. Thomas in the beautiful Caribbean waters. This half day private charter lets you decide which of the over 30 amazing dives offered you would like to explore.

With breathtaking swim-throughs, coral encrusted ledges, abundant fish activity, valleys with scenic passageways, and record breaking barrel sponges, this promises to be an incredible day of diving.

Your Captain/instructor will choose the best dive for the day based on your dive experience (certified diver or diver in training) and current water conditions.

St. John Adventure – Half Day

St. John is not to be missed and is located just a short 15-20 minute ferry ride from St. Thomas’s East end. This 4-hour adventure begins with private water taxi transfer to the charming picturesque port town of Cruz Bay. Guests will enjoy our open-air safari vehicles as they take in the sights, smells and sounds of the unspoiled natural beauty inside the Virgin Islands National Park. Our guides will provide an informative narrated overview of the scenic North shore to world famous Trunk Bay Beach (the most photographed beach in the world). Here guests will have the option (remaining 2 hours) of enjoying the beach and snorkeling the underwater trail or continue to Cruz Bay to enjoy shopping at architecturally stunning Mongoose Junction dotted with upscale island boutiques, art galleries, craft and local emporiums, as well as colorful bars and restaurants.

Tree Limin’ Extreme Zip Lining

This exhilarating zip-line course is situated high in the rainforest of St. Peter Mountain with breathtaking views of Magens Bay, Hans Lollick, Jost Van Dyke, Tortola and beyond. Guests will experience firsthand what “Limin” truly means. “Limin” is a huge part of the local culture which translates to “to hang out.” After checking in, you will meet your professionally trained tour guides who will outfit you with your own personal safety equipment and give you proper instruction on your gear. From there you will take an exhilarating truck ride to the top of St. Peter Mountain in an authentic 6 wheel drive Pinzgauer (Swiss army vehicle). The sweeping views of Magens Bay, The British Virgin Islands, and St. John are the best on St. Thomas.
